Topping the bestseller list

What a thrill that would be – having a book on the best seller list. While I may have to wait for that experience, I am excited to tell you about the forthcoming publication of my two new books.

The first book is entitled Washington DC Memories. The 125 full-color photos in this photographic essay help you experience the iconic beauty, grandeur, and spectacular special events of our Nation’s Capital. My second book is entitled Photographing Baltimore, Annapolis, and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. It is a result of my explorations and the photo workshops I teach in and around Baltimore and Maryland. It provides equal coverage of urban sights, natural areas, and photogenic seasonal events. Whether you are a Marylander looking to discover more of the sights our state offers, a visitor hoping to capture some great shots during your travels, or a seasoned photographer seeking to expand your professional portfolio, this guide tells you where to find the best shots and how to create them. Available June 2012.

It has been both an honor and a thrill working on these book projects. I got to see a whole host of beautiful sights, experience an eclectic mix of annual events, and meet and work with quite a number of fascinating people.
