Like many folks, I am busy reflecting on the year gone by and making plans for 2012. One thing I like to do at this time is select my favorite photos. Over the next few posts I will share these favorites with you. My top ten countdown begins with these images:
When putting together a travelogue, many photographers include images only of the key attractions and major buildings of the cities they visited. That’s fine. However, to spice up the visual stories of your travels, include photos of annual events, local inhabitants at work and play, fellow tourists, and a bit of whimsy.
Later on in my countdown I will show you examples of colorful annual events and picturesque people. I shot images #9 and #10 in and around St. Michaels, MD. They help illustrate that folks have fun and enjoy life in this historic town … in lovely Dorchester County along Maryland’s enchanting Eastern Shore.
