What may sound like an economic report actually describes my nature photography class Birds of Prey Photo Safari. Last month’s class sold out, so I repeated it this past weekend. Once again, photographers flocked to it.

Temperatures were mild. The light was great. Everyone had fun capturing a number of excellent images. We photographed eagles, falcons, and owls (oh, my!) … eight different species in all. As the handlers brought the different raptors out from the aviary, you would hear the group make such comments as amazing, fantastic, and wow. When the handler brought out the Eastern screech owl, there was a collective aaahhh. I think you will agree the Eastern screech owl is indeed cute.

My next Birds of Prey Photo Safari takes place in October when the raptors look incredible set against the colorful fall foliage. For details about this raptor photo shoot and other nature photography classes I lead, check out my schedule of events.
